Engage in a rich mathematical task that promotes intellectual need for deep conceptual understanding. As we watch classroom video of the implementation of the same lesson, you will have opportunity to see how student thinking can be leveraged, to promote quality connections between mathematical ideas. Mathematical language will be connected to meaningful experience and built from the need that arises as students engage. Our content focus will be geometric dilations at the high school level.
